Each piece is created using hand-picked gemstones and only the finest materials available including precious gemstones, tahitian & south sea pearls, solid sterling silver, high-karat gold & platinum.

Please note: Original Passementerie designs only use solid metals, you will never see our jewelry created with gold/silver plated, gold vermeil or gold filled metals.

About the Artist...
The Passementerie collection of artisan fine jewelry is designed by Courtney Laine, a young designer who has already made her mark on the contemporary fine jewelry market with collectors as well as with industry press. Her work is instantly recognizable because of her unique style, combining stunning beadwork with traditional and contemporary metalsmithing techniques.

Deriving inspiration from the past, be it art, architecture, history or fashion itself, Courtney's fine jewelry creations are gaining industry recognition for their style, quality and fine artisan details.

Signature statement pieces in rich, bold color combinations are favored by contemporary women with an eye for quality, while her Modern Heirlooms Collection, combining fine antique lockets and findings with precious gemstones, are treasured by those with an affinity for the past.

From the beginning, Courtney has made it one of her primary goals to change the perception of beadwork as "costume" or "fashion" jewelry by using only fine gemstones, 18-24k gold, platinum and sterling silver in her designs. You will never see Passementerie jewelry created with gold/silver plated, gold vermeil or gold filled metals or with imitation or lab-created gemstones!
